Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before ordering any products from us. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions




This website,, is owned and operated by Loz Walters and Katya Benedetto (“we”, “us”, “our”).

You can only buy products from our online shop if you are aged 18 or older.

1  How it works

1.1 Our website is a platform on which artists and crafters selected by us (the “Artists”) can advertise and sell their products.

1.2 We do not ourselves make any of the products on our website but rather we are agents for the Artists. This means that we promote and offer for sale products made by Artists on  our website. If you purchase products on the website the sales contract in respect of these products shall be between you and the Artist and we shall not be a party.

1.3 As we are acting as an agent rather than a seller, we are not responsible for the products offered for sale on the website, nor do we hold in stock any of these products. Therefore, we cannot promise that the products you buy through the website will be of satisfactory quality and as far as the law will permit, we exclude liability for such products. This does not mean you have no rights if there is a problem with the products though, if an issue arises, you can contact the relevant Artist directly and they will assist you.

2  These Terms

2.1 These terms and conditions will apply to any orders which you place on our website. In addition, some of our Artists may have additional terms and conditions (shown on our website in the product description) which apply specifically to their products.

2.2 If there is any inconsistency or conflict between these terms and the terms presented by an Artist, these terms shall apply.

2.3 By placing an order, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms. Please read them carefully.

3  The Products

3.1 The images of the products on our website are illustrative only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your products may vary slightly from those images.

3.2 The products are supplied for domestic and private use only. You agree not to use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes.

4  How to buy

4.1 To place an order for products, you should take the following steps:

  1. Step 1 – Add your selected product to the online shopping cart;
  2. Step 2 – Select your chosen delivery method and payment method from the options presented;
  3. Step 3 – Provide your delivery and payment information when requested; and
  4. Step 4 - Submit your order.

4.2 Up until the point at which you place your order, you can review it and make changes to it. We would recommend that you take the time to review your order before submitting it.

4.3 If you place your order on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday, the order will be processed and confirmed no later than the following business day in the UK.

4.4 Your order will not be accepted until you have paid for the products in full and cleared funds and you have received an email confirming that the order is accepted (“Order Confirmation Email”). It is at this point that a binding contract between you and the Artist is formed for the sale and purchase of the products. If, following receipt of an Order Confirmation Email, the order cannot for any reason be fulfilled, this is a matter as between you and the Artist.  However, we will refund any payment you have made. The contract shall be in English and will include these Terms.

4.5 Products are subject to availability and whilst we will try our best to ensure the website only displays products which are in stock, this can change and so there may be circumstances where a product you have ordered is unavailable. We will let you know if this is the case and will refund any payment you have made for the unavailable products.


5  Price and Delivery Charges

5.1 The prices of the products will be as shown on our website in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and including any applicable VAT. The prices may change from time to time but this will not affect any order you have placed and which has been accepted by us.

5.2 The prices exclude delivery charges. The delivery options may vary between Artists and details of these options and the charges can be found on our website at pre-checkout. Any delivery times or lead times quoted are in working days.

5.3 We will make every effort to ensure that the correct prices are displayed on our website. However, if it is apparent that a product has been given the wrong price, please let the Artist know. It is the responsibility of the Artist to ensure their products are displayed with the correct price. If you have ordered a product which has been incorrectly priced:

            5.3.1  where the product’s actual price is less than the price shown on our website, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the products to you; and

            5.3.2  where the product’s actual price is more than the price shown on our website, you can either cancel the order and receive a full refund if you have already paid or to continue to purchase the product once the price has been corrected. If the Artist is unable to contact you using the contact details you provide during the order process, the Artist will treat the order as cancelled and notify you to this effect by email, if possible.


6  How to Pay

6.1 You can pay for products using a debit or credit card or PayPal. We will process payment on behalf of the relevant Artist and you will not pay the Artist directly.

6.2 If you are paying by debit or credit card, we can accept MasterCard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit and American Express.


7  Discount and Promotion Codes

7.1 From time to time, there may be special promotions (such as discounts or offers) on certain products shown on our website. We have the right to withdraw such promotions at any time and they may be subject to time restrictions, limits on availability and other terms and conditions.

7.2 To avoid disappointment, please ensure you check the terms and conditions for a promotional offer before trying to redeem it, in particular, we may offer different promotions for different Artists.

7.3 If a promotion we are running involves use of a promotion code, such codes shall only be valid for one transaction and once the code is used it will be deactivated and will be no longer valid.

7.4 Promotions cannot be added to an order after the order is confirmed, therefore you must ensure that the code is registered before you confirm and pay for the products.

7.5 We are not responsible for promotions related to products on external websites or other media. Promotions on our website can only be redeemed where such promotions are published through The Little Craft Shack.

7.6 We reserve the right to withdraw a promotion or promotional code at any time.


8  Delivery

8.1 Artists shall endeavour to deliver products to you within their Lead/Delivery Time as stated in the product description.

8.2 Delivery will be completed when the product(s) is/are delivered to the address you entered at checkout.

8.3 You are responsible for the products on delivery and will own the product(s) once delivery has been completed.


9  No International Delivery

9.1 Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver to addresses outside mainland UK.

9.2 You may place an order for products from outside the UK, but this order must be for delivery to an address in the UK.


10  Faulty products

10.1 As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms will affect these legal rights.


11  Returns and Refunds

Your right to cancel

11.1 You can cancel your order for any reason from the date on which you place your order until 14 days after the day on which the product is delivered. After this period your right to cancel expires.

11.2 If you have ordered more than one product from the same Artist in the same online order and these products are being delivered on different days, your right to cancel the order expires 14 days after the day on which you received the last of the products ordered from that Artist.

11.3 If you have ordered products from more than one Artist in the same online order, your right to cancel will expire, in respect of each Artist, in accordance with clauses 11.1 and 11.2 above and each Artist order will be a separate contract despite being made as a collective online order.

11.4 Please note that your legal right to cancel does not apply in respect of:

            11.4.1   any made-to-measure or custom-made products or products made to your specification or clearly personalised;

            11.4.2   any sealed products which cannot be returned due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been opened or unsealed by you, for example, earrings;

            11.4.3   any products which have been mixed inseparably with other items by you after delivery; and

            11.4.4   any products which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.


How to notify us that you wish to cancel

11.5 To exercise your right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel within the cancellation period stated above by emailing us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. specifying which products you wish to return, your full name and the name of the relevant Artist. This email constitutes a Cancellation Notice.

11.6 If you wish, you can use our online “contact us” form to cancel your order. A copy of this form can be found here  Once you have filled it in, tick the CAPTCHA box and click the “send email” box. It would be helpful to write “Order Cancellation” in the Subject field. Please specify which products you wish to return, your full name and the name of the relevant Artist in the main message. This email constitutes a Cancellation Notice.

We would recommend that you tick the “Send Copy to Yourself” box to keep a copy of your Cancellation Notice for your own records.

11.7 Your Cancellation Notice will take effect on the date on which you send it to us.


Returning the unwanted product

11.8 If you have already received the product when you decide to cancel your order then you will need to return the product to the relevant Artist. To do this you should send the product and a completed copy of your Cancellation Notice back to the Artisan by post within 14 days of the date on which you email your Cancellation Notice. You are responsible for the delivery costs for returning the products.

11.9 If you are returning the product by post, we would recommend that you obtain from the post office, evidence of posting and keep a copy of this.

11.10 You are responsible for the costs of returning the unwanted product unless you are returning it because it is faulty.


Taking care of the product

11.11 You have a legal obligation to take the utmost care of the product whilst it is in your possession and are responsible for the risk of damage during transit if you send it back to us. If on inspection of any products which you return, we (or the Artist) believes that the goods are damaged or their value has been diminished as a result of your handling of the goods beyond what would have been necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods then we may deduct an amount equal to the damage or diminishment in value from the refund owed to you.


12  Refunds

12.1 If you cancel your order in accordance with these terms and conditions, you will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the goods and any standard delivery charges you paid for in the order (you must pay for the return costs) except in the circumstances described in clause 11.11.

12.2 Please note that we are not obliged to refund any supplementary costs paid by you if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered.

12.3 The refund due to you will be processed as soon as possible and, in any case, no later than

            (a) 14 days after the day we receive the returned items from you; or

            (b) if earlier, 14 days after the day you provide us with evidence that you have returned the items; or

            (c) if you are not yet in receipt of the items, 14 days after the date on which you email your Cancellation Notice.

12.4 The refund will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.


13  Our Warranty For The Products

13.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all express, implied and statutory warranties, representations and conditions relating to our website and the use of the website.

13.2 We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any breach of any terms implied by law.


14  Our Liability

14.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and us at the time we accept your order.


15  Events Outside Our Control

15.1 Neither we nor the Artist(s) will liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of the obligations under these Terms that is caused by an event outside our (or an Artist’s) control for example strikes, or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

17  Cookies policy

17.1 We use cookies in accordance with the provisions of the Electronic Communications Act as amended.

17.2 A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer that contains information that helps the website identify and track the visitor. Cookies do not harm your computer, consist only of text, cannot contain viruses and occupies virtually no space on your hard drive. There are two types of cookies: "Session Cookies" and cookies that are saved permanently on your computer.

The first type of cookie commonly used is "Session Cookies". During the time you visit the website, our web server assigns your browser a unique identifier string so as not to confuse you with other visitors. A "Session Cookie" is never stored permanently on your computer and disappears when you close your browser. To use The Little Craft Shack without troubles you need to have cookies enabled.

The second type of cookie saves a file permanently on your computer. This type of cookie is used to track how visitors move around on the website. This is only used to offer visitors better services and support. The text files can be deleted. On The Little Craft Shack we use this type of cookie to keep track of your shopping cart and to keep statistics of our visitors. The information stored on your computer is only a unique number, without any connection to personal information.


18  Other Important Terms

18.1 We may transfer our rights and obligations under any contract with you to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights under these Terms.

18.2 You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person if we agree in writing.

18.3 Each clause of these Terms is separate and if any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the other clauses will remain in full force and effect.

18.4 If we do not insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or where we do not enforce or delay enforcing our rights, that will not mean that we have waived our rights  nor that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

18.5 These Terms are governed by English law and the English courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms. If you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.


19  Changes to these Terms

19.1 We may update these Terms so please check them each time you wish to place an order so that you understand the terms which will apply to that order. If you do not agree to these Terms then please do not use the website.
